When can I leave a deposit?
When we make the announcement that we will be accepting deposits, please reach out. Puppies will be chosen by future families in the order of which the deposits are received.
What form does the deposit have to be in and is it refundable?
Cash or Zelle. Some exceptions apply in regard to a check, but if a check is mailed, understand that it will be cashed upon arrival. The deposit goes toward the total purchase price of your puppy.
Deposits for puppies are not refundable.
Why is my deposit not refundable?
At the time a deposit is received, the number of puppies available is reduced by the deposits received; therefore, making the puppy unavailable public. We do non-refundable in order to discourage people from "wanting" but not following through.
How much are the puppies?
Puppy prices are determined by the female and stud used, prices will be made public per litter. With your purchase price you will receive all necessary paperwork from AKC with limited registration. Full registration can be acquired for an additional cost.
When can I see the puppies?
Due to the importance of our puppies health, we do not allow visitors before five weeks of age. The puppies health is our priority and we do our best to offer updated pictures.
When are the puppies available to be picked up?
At 8 weeks of age, no exceptions. We will do our best to work within your schedule, but we feel it is very important the puppies remain with their mother until 8 weeks of age.
Do the puppies come with limited or open registration?
Puppies come with all necessary paperwork from AKC with a limited Registration unless otherwise agreed upon.
Do I have to keep the name the puppy has?
Not at all. There are no obligations to keep the names we have chosen for the puppies. They are young and impressionable enough, a name change should be seamless.
What do the puppies come with?
Puppies will come with AKC paperwork, several days of dry quality food, all necessary de-worming(s) and vaccine(s) for their age.
Do you vaccinate and de-worm yourself?
No, we take the puppies to a certified veterinary clinic to be examined, weighed, de-wormed and vaccinated by a certified practitioner. We are happy to put you in touch with our Veterinary clinic.
What do you feed your puppies?
We feed our puppies Authority Small Breed Puppy. We send several days worth of puppy food so that you may transition to the food of your choice or continue to feed the same food.
If we decide to spay or neuter our new puppy, at what age?
Generally our families wait until they are a 1 year to 1 1/2 years of age before spaying/neutering their puppy. That being said, I would consult your regular veterinarian for specific guidance before making your decision.
If we can't keep the puppy, what should we do?
You are not obligated to return the puppy to us, however, we highly encourage you to reach out to us so that we may help find the best replacement home possible for him/her. We are a no-judgment family and we bring these puppies in carefully; they are not meant for a shelter and do everything we can to help place your puppy. We understand life is unpredictable and the last thing you need is to feel guilt for doing what's best for your White Pine Sheltie.
